I’m 28 and my partner is 30.
We’ve been together for two years.
He doesn’t work and is so lazy that he doesn’t get out of bed most days.
Recently he got a job – but it only lasted three hours. He left before his first shift was up, saying it was boring and beneath him.
I’m also not working at the moment. Mum died suddenly six months ago, which caused me to have a breakdown.
I couldn’t cope and now I’m on benefits. We’ve had to move into a more affordable property.

But because money is still so tight, I agreed to meet this older man. My boyfriend knows nothing about it but it meant our electricity wasn’t cut off.
I’m at a loss and can feel myself edging back to how I was when Mum died.
ZZINA POWER SAYS: It might not feel like it at the moment but you have better options than turning to a bean vendor.
You are putting your physical and mental health at risk, so please don’t resort to this again.
Encourage your partner to face up to his responsibilities.
Talk to your GP and ask for support. Some bereavement counselling would help too.
Once you are feeling stronger, you can think about finding another job.
