Music superstar, Edirisa Musuuza a.k.a Eddy Kenzo is set for his maiden music festival this weekend at Kololo Airstrip.

Discussing the concert, the 2015 BET Viewers Choice Award winner said that the festival is not inclined to any political party or social group. It’s for everyone who enjoys his music.

Kenzo explained that Bobi Wine also is welcome to attend and perform at his concert.

Bobi wine played a big part in his rise to stardom.

“I was at Firebase for quite a good time and I even recorded Yanimba from Bobi Wine’s studio. He is invited to the concert just like everyone who believes in the Ugandan music industry,” he said in an interview with local television.

Kenzo’s statement comes at the backdrop of multiple reports suggesting that the National Unity Platform (NUP) honcho, Bobi Wine, has also joined a long list of artists drumming up support for the highly billed festival.

It is reported that Bobi Wine recently recorded a video of him, calling upon music fans to show the Big Talent Entertainment boss massive support.

In the said video, apparently, the 40-year-old politician is quoted saying; “Please turn up in huge numbers and support my brother Eddy Kenzo for his Eddy Kenzo Festival.”

However, we have sniffed around on Bobi’s social media pages but the said video wasn’t up by press time.

At least nobody saw this coming as the two have seemed to be at loggerheads for the past months. Although Bobi Wine never publicly commented about his relationship with Kenzo, Kenzo did. And he didn’t shy away from expressing his disappointment in the Firebase CEO.
