Dokta Brain has set social media ablaze after boldly dismissing Alien Skin’s talent, claiming the ghetto star thrives solely on fan hype rather than true musical skill.
During a recent media interview with Galaxy FM’s Morning Saga’s crew, Dokta Brain didn’t mince words when asked about the current state of Uganda’s music industry.
“The most overrated musician in Uganda is Alien Skin. He doesn’t rank up there but is living on hype from fans,” he declared bluntly.
The statement immediately sent shockwaves through the entertainment scene, with many fans rushing online to defend Alien Skin while others agreed that Dokta Brain may have a point.
Known for his no-holds-barred opinions, Dokta Brain doubled down on his stance, saying he isn’t intimidated by Alien Skin’s loyal fanbase, famously known for their fiery reactions on social media.
“I’m not scared of his fans. I only speak the truth,” he insisted.

As expected, the internet quickly turned into a battlefield. Some commenters praised Dokta Brain for his honesty and courage to speak what many allegedly think but never say. Others, however, accused him of jealousy and chasing clout at Alien Skin’s expense.
Despite the backlash, the outspoken artist appears unfazed, leaving fans wondering if this was a genuine industry critique or a carefully timed jab to stir conversation.
One thing’s for sure: Dokta Brain’s comments have reignited the never-ending debate about talent versus hype in Uganda’s fast-changing music scene.
