After a while of teasing and anticipation, Swangz Avenue talent Azawi has today finally rolled out the LOST FILES EP. What makes LOST FILES stand out is that unlike previous releases, the short and sweet 7 track is a collection of records that fans have long demanded.
These are composed of tracks that didn’t make her previous two albums SANKOFA and AFRICAN MUSIC. As lead up, Azawi revisited her vault and dropped two percussive singles “Love Tekaawa” and “Njize Okwagaala”.
Following mainstream acclaim for their exceptional composition, the “Slow Dancing” singer has today dropped the entire body of work, an indicator that Azawi continues to serve Ugandans not just stories, but remarkable gems of songs, something that has become synonymous with her brand.
In addition, tracks like “EKiri Mu Gulu” have gained extraordinary traction on social media platforms like tiktok after being shared through an unconventional rollout on YouTube and TikTok. This roll out sparked massive anticipation, inspiring countless user-generated videos through the different songs
