The dramatic case surrounding flashy city socialite Bryan white has taken a darker twist after police hauled four women, including his wife to the Makindye Chief Magistrate’s court on charges of human sacrifice and manslaughter.
The suspects including Nalunga Daisy, Abaho Daphine, Nakato Naava, and Nambalirwa Joyce were paraded in court on Thursday, 13 November. The case follows the mysterious death of 27-year-old Nalubwama Caroline, who suffered horrifying burn injuries inside bryan white’s Munyonyo home before dying at Kiruddu hospital.
All four were remanded to Luzira Prison until December 18, 2025, when they will return for the formal reading of charges before Chief Magistrate Sarah Basemera.
They face seven counts, including human sacrifice, manslaughter, rash and negligent acts, possession of narcotics, conspiracy to commit a felony, and giving false information to police.
Prosecution alleges that on October 22, 2025, at Kyamula Zone in Makindye Division, Bryan White killed Nalubwama for purposes linked to witchcraft or ritual activity, which is an offence under the Prevention and Prohibition of Human Sacrifice Act.
The state further accuses White of unlawfully causing Nalubwama’s death by burning her and later transferring her to Kiruddu Hospital, where she died from the injuries between October 22 and 27, 2025.
Meanwhile, the man at the centre of the storm, White, remains under tight police guard as he receives treatment for his own wounds.
ASP luke Owoyesigyire, the KMP deputy police spokesman says charges have been officially sanctioned against him too, raising the number of suspects to five.
Owoyesigyire confirmed that investigations are still ongoing as detectives dig deeper into what really happened behind the closed doors of the socialite’s luxurious home.
