Alien Skin revealed that his decision to step away from the rallies is not about politics, bookings but rather, about loyalty.
Musician Patrick Mulwana, better known by his street-forged moniker Alien Skin, has finally broken his silence on why he’s been missing in action from Sevo’s campaign trail for nearly two months… and his explanation hits right at the heart of the ghetto he calls home.

During a candid TikTok live session, the Sitya Danger hitmaker revealed that his decision to step away from the rallies is not about politics, bookings, or backstage drama but rather, about loyalty.
According to Alien Skin, long before he rose to fame, he was among the ghetto youth who viewed musicians performing at presidential rallies as beneficiaries of taxpayer money, while their own communities struggled to get by. Now that he’s on the big stage, he says he can’t simply flip the script.
“Before joining music, I felt musicians who performed at Sevo’s rallies were thriving because of taxpayers’ money,” he revealed. “So I chose to move out because of the people I left in the ghetto. I am standing in solidarity with them because they still believe that way. Performing on campaigns would be betrayal.”

But that’s not all. The self-styled ghetto champ also noted that some individuals had begun speculating that his presence at campaign events might spark violence, a rumor he wasn’t willing to gamble with.
To protect both himself and the community that shaped him, Alien Skin chose to step back, insisting that no performance fee is worth risking tension or distrust among the very people he represents.
With this move, the unpredictable star once again proves that while his music may be loud, his message is even louder.
