In a fiery phone conversation, Bebe Cool revealed that he personally ensured Luwilight was locked up… not out of spite, he says, but to teach a lesson. According to the outspoken singer, this was about discipline, deterrence, and drawing a hard line when it comes to family.
“Forgiveness also teaches lessons,” Bebe Cool declared, pulling no punches. “Spare the rod and spoil the child. People only learn how hot the fire is after they touch it.” In his view, Luwilight crossed that line one too many times, and the flames were inevitable.
Unlike previous feuds where the self-styled president of Gagamel eventually extended an olive branch, this one, he insists, is different. The issue, Bebe says, isn’t just personal but rather, it’s familial. Luwilight’s repeated attacks on his wife Zuena and her cake brand sealed her fate.
“People say I should forgive her because she has a child,” Bebe Cool argued. “Doesn’t Zuena have children too?” His message was blunt: think about your family before you do things that could take you away from them.
A few days ago, Luwilight was arrested following her controversial remarks about Zuena’s cake business on social media. She was arraigned in court this morning but denied bail, and she is set to reappear on 2 February 2026.
For now, Bebe Cool stands unmoved with no mercy, no pardon, and no regrets.
