Musana, 28, a resident of Asante Apartments in Kyanja, Nakawa Division, appeared before Senior Grade One Magistrate Edgar Karakire at City Hall Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.

Prosecutors accuse the TikToker of posting videos on his social media account that allegedly contained offensive communication and misuse of personal data. Court heard that on March, 5 Musana unlawfully obtained or processed data including a photograph and name of General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, without his prior consent of the said General Muhoozi Kainerugaba.

He further used his tiktok account to announce the Chief of Defence Forces of Uganda People’s Defence Forces, as unfit to hold the office, ridiculing or degrading or demeaning the General.

But while appearing in court, Musana denied the charges.
