Media personality and musician Crysto Panda has revealed that his once-booming music career took a major hit and he’s blaming it on TikTok.
It’s a shocking confession from one of Uganda’s most recognizable entertainers! Media personality and singer Crysto Panda has revealed that his once-booming music career took a major hit and he’s blaming it on TikTok.

In a brutally honest interview with Galaxy TV’s Rewind Team, Panda admitted that his constant presence on live broadcasts ended up killing the mystery that made fans crave his music in the first place.
“When people see you too much, they lose respect… there’s no excitement anymore,” he confessed.
The star, who became a TikTok regular with his popular “Champanya” live sessions often featuring celebrity guests said fans got so used to seeing him for free that they stopped paying to watch him perform live.
“They had no reason to pay,” Panda revealed. “Why buy a ticket when they can just watch me anytime?”
INSIDERS say this overexposure didn’t just dent his bookings, it rebranded him in the eyes of fans, shifting focus from musician to online personality.
But it wasn’t all doom and gloom.
After stepping back and taking a hard look at his career, Panda had a wake-up call: his true supporters wanted the MUSIC, not just the livestreams.
Calling the experience a “blessing in disguise,” he made a bold move, ditching the constant TikTok grind and heading back to the studio, TV, and radio.
“I realized that wasn’t my calling,” he admitted.
