Music fans are waking up to a major showdown after singer Cindy Sanyu publicly blasted fellow star Omega 256 over their chart-topping collaboration, “See You Tonight.”
The explosive allegations surfaced during Cindy’s appearance on Galaxy FM, where the dancehall starclaimed she has been left out in the cold while Omega 256 and her team allegedly enjoyed the lion’s share of the success generated by one of 2025’s biggest songs.
According to Cindy, the situation is especially painful because she says she personally financed the production of the hit record. Despite footing the bill, she claims the rewards that followed, including recognition, opportunities, and accolades have largely gone to Omega.
“I paid for the project, but somehow I’m the one who has been sidelined,” Cindy reportedly suggested during the interview, expressing frustration over what she sees as an unfair outcome from the collaboration.
But that’s not all.
The “Boom Party” singer also accused Omega’s camp of moving ahead with digital distribution decisions without her approval. Cindy alleged that the song was uploaded to digital platforms before she had a chance to consent to the arrangement.
Even more shocking are claims surrounding the money.
Cindy says the revenue-sharing structure heavily favored Omega, with Omega allegedly receiving 60 percent of the digital earnings while Cindy was left with just 40 percent. The singer insists the split does not reflect the contributions both artists made to the project.
The accusations have sent shockwaves through Uganda’s entertainment industry, especially considering the enormous success of “See You Tonight.” The song dominated radio and television airwaves throughout 2025, became a fan favorite across streaming platforms, and cemented itself as one of the year’s biggest musical releases.
Now, fans are left wondering whether the blockbuster collaboration was hiding bitter tensions behind the scenes all along.

As of publication, Omega 256 and her management team had not publicly responded to the allegations.
