Speaking during a candid appearance on Galaxy TV with the Rewind team, Mulo opened up about plans to formally introduce Brenda to his family and hold a traditional ceremony, a move many fans believe has been long overdue.
The couple has been together for seven years and already shares two children, but according to Yung Mulo, the decision to formalize their union has taken longer than expected.
“We have been together for like 7 years, we have two children. I haven’t done it quickly and I see it’s even late but I have decided to do it so whatever comes out, that’s it,” he revealed.
The singer admitted that Brenda had pushed for the ceremony as far back as 2021, but he kept postponing it while promising her that the visit would eventually happen.
Now, he says, the time has finally come.
Although fans may expect a flashy celebrity-style celebration, Yung Mulo made it clear that he intends to keep things simple and realistic.
“I will do what I can because I have to earn respect from her side,” he explained.
The emotional revelation has sparked excitement among his supporters, many of whom have followed the couple’s journey for years.
Yung Mulo also shared the sweet story of how their romance began. According to the singer, he first met Brenda while performing at her school. After the show, she contacted him on Facebook, and what started as casual conversations slowly blossomed into a serious relationship.
Today, that once-young romance has grown into a family of four and soon, an officially recognized union.
