The celebrity couple was recently spotted at Entebbe International Airport preparing to jet out of Uganda, with Becky openly sharing details about the surprise getaway before boarding their flight.
Speaking to journalists at the airport, the “Bankuza” hitmaker revealed that the romantic vacation was carefully organized as a special birthday gift for Abdul, who has just turned 29.
“I am taking my husband to Barbados, the island where Rihanna was born,” Becky said excitedly. “We want to experience different air, relax, and enjoy new experiences by the ocean.”
Sources close to the singer say Becky spared no expense in making the birthday trip memorable, with the couple expected to enjoy luxury beachfront resorts, fine dining, and sightseeing around the famous Caribbean destination known for its tropical beauty and vibrant nightlife.
Interestingly, Becky also disclosed that she personally financed the entire trip as a token of appreciation to her husband.
“Since I married my husband, we have grown to appreciate western culture a lot,” she explained. “I am the one paying for this because it is his birthday. I want him to experience new cuisines and different experiences.”
