Police in Kabalagala have arrested a 19-year-old housemaid over the alleged aggravated defilement of a 5-year-old boy in Kibuli!
According to Kampala Metropolitan Police spox Racheal Kawala, the incident is said to have happened on June 6, 2026, at around 10 a.m. inside a home in Kimbugwe Zone.
The suspect, identified as Zaina Mary, was working as a domestic worker in the house where the incident allegedly occurred.
Police confirmed she is now in custody at Kabalagala Police Station as investigations continue.
Police have warned parents and guardians to carefully vet domestic workers and ensure children are always protected.
Investigations into the incident are still ongoing.
