PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To receive customers over the counter and make payments against withdrawal request after verification.
MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- 1) Receive and count cash at the beginning and closure of shifts
- 2) Provide savings account balance details to customers.
- 3) Undertake daily counting and balancing of the cash in the register as per provided schedules.
- 4) Perform specialised tasks such as preparing statements, personal and money orders.
- 5) Verify and receive loan and utility bill payments as well as mortgage payments.
- 6) Record all transactions at the closing of each shift.
- 7) Respond to customer queries relating to savings accounts as well as other bank-related products.
- 8) Opening new accounts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in any course
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCES
1) Timely resolution of customer queries
2) Customer satisfaction
3) Teamwork
4) Reduction in shortages
5) Number of transactions completed
6) Transaction accuracy (error rate 0.05% against number of transactions per month
7) High level of integrity
8) High level of confidentiality
