JOB DETAILS:
Roofings Group is the leading manufacturer of quality steel and plastic building products in East Africa. We are currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated, technically experienced, and competent persons, with zeal to perform beyond expectations and excited to Join a (30) years leading steel manufacturer.

Report to: Production Engineer

Key duties and responsibilities
• To produce in the required quality and quantities of goods from the machine allocated.
• Minimize scrap generation.
• Machine setting and preparation of product ready to be packed.
• Operate the machine & ensure proper usage of raw material.
• Product marking as per the standards.
• Daily record keeping for production and down time.
• Conditional monitoring of machines and reporting of faults for rectification.
• Machine cleaning, lubrication and tightening of fasteners.
• General housekeeping of the work environment.

Required Qualification, Skills & Experience
• Ordinary diploma in Mechanical engineering from recognized University.
• A Minimum of three (3) years’ working experience as a Machine Operator in a similar work environment.
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
• Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
• Must be self-motivated and a great team player.

Level of Education: Associate Degree
