Quality Plastics (U) LTD is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Material Clerk to receive, store & issue raw material, receive finished products from production, Store & load customer trucks as per instruction given by the Assistant Material controller. Ensure accurate & up to date records of all transactions and stock levels are kept. Key Responsibilities.
▪ To receive raw materials under the guidance of the material controller.
▪ To timely issue materials to production as per material requisition.
▪ To monitor stock levels & update the material controller.
▪ To update the google sheets on any stock movements.
▪ Receive finished goods from factory, checking quantity and ensuring that goods are labelled properly for easy traceability and identification before stacking/ storage.
▪ To ensure materials are arranged per customer in the store. With clear identification tags.
▪ Ensure all materials are kept in a hygienic environment & dusty free.
▪ To ensure dusting of materials is done as per dusting schedule.
▪ To carry out material & finished product counts according to counting plan as shared by the material controller.
▪ Ensure that no food / eats are taken inside storage area.
▪ Supervise loading of deliveries as instructed by the material controller in the shortest possible time taking all safety precautions.
▪ Supervise all loaders as they execute any duty assigned to them.
▪ Monitor attendance of loaders & escalate to immediate supervisor in case of any absence.
▪ Ensure proper documentation is maintained & filed at all time for receipt, issues & dispatch materials.
▪ Implementation of FIFO & FEFO to avoid expiries in store.
▪ Ensuring 5s & GMP are maintained in the store at all times.
▪ Identify & share improvement opportunities within the process from time to time.
▪ Ensure to maintain data integrity at all time.
• Ensuring all materials are kept under lock & key at all times.
• Ensure all stores activities are carried out with all safety precautions in place
• Perform any other duties assigned by material controller
Requirements
• Minimum Education: Degree or Diploma in Procurement and logistics management or Diploma or Degree in Accounting & Finance, Diploma in Statistics
• Minimum Experience: Working experience of 1-2 years in a busy Manufacturing Industry is an added advantage
• Knowledge of basic Computer applications like MS-Office, Excel and power point
• Ability to work in a team, deliver results as required and in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge in systems requirement and willingness to learn
