JOB DETAILS:
To ensures that PA fleet, plants and equipment are well serviced and in good running
condition.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Repair and maintain UWA vehicles, motorcycles, equipment and machines aiming to vehicle/equipment functionality and longevity
• Keep daily records of the work done
• Ensure that all tools issued from the stores are used, cleaned and returned after use to the stores
• Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
• Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise drivers on good vehicle use
• Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional (parts and fix issues e.g leaks)
• Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
• Keep logs on work and issues
• Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time by the supervisor

Person Specifications
• Should possess a Certificate in Mechanics or Motor Vehicle mechanics from a recognized
• institution.
• Possession of valid driving permit.
