POST: 4 Cadet Assistant Superintendents of Police (Aircraft Engineers)

SALARY SCALE: UGANDA GOVERNMENR SCALE-U4SC
AGE LIMIT: 35 YEARS AND ABOVE
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensuring that the unit aircrafts are in serviceable condition.
- Planning for and Ensuring that the unit aircrafts undergo the requisite regular maintenance/servicing
- Prepare aircraft for the requisite regular certification
- Perform the duty of flight engineer
- Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- The Applicant must be a Ugandan
- Process aircraft licenses A&C
- Process at least three (3) years working experience with a reputable organisation as an aircraft engineer.
- Have no criminal record.
- Ready to work long hours and at times in difficult situations.
- Ready to work in any part of the Country.
- Possess good communication skills.
- Proficient in computer usage.
- Be physically/mentally fit and able to undertake the requisite twelve months basic Police course.
- Ready to undertake additional professional training
Job application procedure
Interested candidates should obtain application forms (PSF 3 revised-2008) from the Public Service Commission (Farmers House Kampala) in addition to Uganda Police Force recruitment Bio Data forms from the Human Resource Management Department at Police Headquarters.
Applications in triplicate filled in own handwriting and accompanied by photo copies of academic transcripts and certificates, curriculum vitae, three(3) recent passport size photographs and recommendation letters from LC1, LC111 and RDC from district of origin should be brought in person to the Secretary Police Authority at the Ministry of internal Affairs-Jinja Road, Kampala before 11th June 2018.
