Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Reporting To Zonal Officer, The Successful Candidate Will;

• Visit farmers and sensitize them on good farming practices
• Collaborate with Community Volunteers on supply of seeds, sensitization of farmers, harvesting produce.
• Coordinate with Procurement Assistants on sale of seeds to farmers and purchase of produce from farmers
• Maintain good working relationship with local leaders
• Liaise with development partners supporting agricultural programs in the area
• Organize corporate social responsibility activities in the districts of operation
• Prepare daily activity reports
• Coordinate purchase of high-quality seeds.
• Locate and mobilize farmers.
• Coordinate ground trainings for farmers.
• Coordinate distribution of high-quality seeds to the farmers.
• Any other duties assigned by the Extension Services Manager

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

• Diploma in Agricultural related field from a recognized institute.
• 2 years’ experience in a similar role
