The Consultancy Services for Supervision of Environment and Social Safeguards will involve:

  • Ensuring compliance with World Bank and French Development Agency environmental and social safeguard policies during the construction and upgrading of the specified roads.
  • Conducting regular site inspections to monitor adherence to environmental mitigation measures and social safeguards.
  • Preparing and submitting periodic reports on environmental and social compliance to the relevant authorities.
  • Liaising with local communities and stakeholders to address any grievances or concerns related to the project.
  • Providing technical guidance to contractors on best practices for minimizing environmental and social impacts.
  • Ensuring that all project activities align with national and international environmental and social standards.
