As the company continues to expand, it is seeking a results-driven Account Manager to drive revenue growth by acquiring new customers and managing the full sales cycle.
Job Purpose
The Account Manager is responsible for managing the complete sales process, from prospecting and lead qualification to contract negotiation and deal closure. The role focuses on building strong client relationships, identifying business opportunities, and achieving sales targets within the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, product demonstrations, proposal development, negotiation, and closing of sales.
- Convert qualified leads into paying customers.
- Conduct tailored product demonstrations for hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, pricing structures, and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline records and forecasts using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to maximize business opportunities.
- Identify new markets and potential clients within the healthcare sector.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
- Prepare regular sales performance reports and forecasts for management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Health Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Professional sales certifications are an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–5 years' experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) sales, preferably within Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), technology, or digital health.
- Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets in a quota-driven environment.
- Experience selling technology solutions to hospitals, clinics, or healthcare organizations is highly desirable.
- Existing professional network within the healthcare sector is an added advantage.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Excellent understanding of consultative and solution-based selling techniques.
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry and digital health technologies.
- Experience using CRM systems for pipeline management and sales forecasting.
