Job Summary:

SurePay Limited is looking for a proactive and skilled accountant to play a crucial role beyond traditional bookkeeping, acting as a financial advisor and strategists by helping the company to navigate the complexities of financial regulations, manage risks, ensure data integrity, and leverage technology to enhance their financial operations and services.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to Stakeholders by compiling financial statements
  • Compliance by conforming to the rules and laws of the land.
  • Prepare financial management reports including planning and forecasting
  • Supporting businesses with informed decision-making
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements.
  • Manage external audit process; Mentor and train accounting staff
  • Risk management. Study potential risk and advise management on how to manage them
  • Perform reconciliations and ensure clients get their funds
  • Support in handling escalated customer complaints and ensure customer feedback and satisfaction.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • 5+ years of experience in practical accounting.

Preferred Attributes:

  • CPA or ACCA.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
