Description

Tenna & Pharma Laboratories is hiring an Accountant to carryout the following duties and responsibilities;

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.
  • Assist in budgeting, financial forecasting, and expenditure tracking.
  • Prepare statutory deductions and support tax compliance processes.
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial transactions.
  • Support payroll preparation and staff payment processes.
  • Monitor petty cash and daily financial transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards.
  • Support procurement and inventory financial documentation.
  • Assist during audits and financial inspections.
  • Work closely with management to support operational efficiency and accountability.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration (Accounting Option), or related field from a reputable institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a busy and fast-paced organization or medical facility.
  • Professional accounting certification (CPA/ACCA Level I or above) is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially QuickBooks and Excel.

  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of medical facility financial operations is an added advantage.
