Job Summary:
ICEA LION General Insurance is seeking a motivated and skilled Application Support Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and developing enhancements to business applications used within the organization. This role requires someone proactive, analytical, and committed to delivering timely technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line and second-line support for core business applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues reported by users.
- Assist in system upgrades, enhancements, and configuration changes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure application stability and performance.
- Document application procedures, solutions, and system configurations.
- Participate in application testing, deployment, and integration processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized university (Mandatory).
- MCSD (Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer) and/or DBA certification is a strong advantage.
- Proven working experience in a busy Applications Support Environment, preferably involving development or system enhancements.
- Solid knowledge of databases (SQL), programming concepts, and system analysis.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
