JOB DETAILS:
The Law Development Centre (LDC) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates (Ugandans) to fill the vacant positions below, tenable at the LDC campuses.

Job Purpose:
To teach the prescribed subject and offer professional advice to students in the allocated subject(s).

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Teaching the prescribed subject or subjects.
• Setting and marking examinations.
• Marking Individual Assessments.
• Presiding over moots.
• Invigilation of examinations.
• Meeting with and advising students.
• Supervising students during clerkship and writing clerkship reports.
• Attending pre-teaching meetings.
• Any other relevant duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor of Laws- LLB (Hon) degree.
• Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre.
• Masters in Law- LLM shall be an added advantage.
• Must be an enrolled Advocate of the High Court of Uganda.
• At least six (6) years’ work experience as a private or public legal practitioner.

• He/she should be a person of high integrity.
• The ability to produce quality results within set deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal relations skills.
• He/she should be a team player.
