JOB DETAILS:

We are looking for experienced Auto Parts Sales Representative to join our Parts team. The successful candidate’s core responsibility is to look for clients to sell the company’s automobile products (spare parts) and services, and answering customer’s queries about prices and parts availability.
The position will require a self-motivated individual who has excellent communication and customer service skills.

Job Responsibilities
1. Find new customers and assist them in buying automobile parts, including answering questions, educating them on product usage and providing advice for maintenance.
2. Routinely visit garages, local dealers, automobile wholesale parts stores, fleet and institutional dealers to get orders for company auto parts.
3. Continuously find new customers to ensure auto parts sales volumes are achieved as per agreed targets.
4. Collect and gather market feedback / intelligence and share with supervisor.
5. Ensure successful follow-up on sales campaigns, promotions & special offers.
6. Submit monthly summary sales reports to the supervisor.
7. Participates in weekly, monthly and quarterly review meetings.
8. Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers.
9. Act as a contact between the company existing and potential markets to sell company auto parts.
10. Build sustainable relationship of trust through open and interactive communication with customers.

Job Skills and Requirements
1. Extensive knowledge in automobile and vehicle spare parts.
2. Proven sales background within automobile parts sales environment.
3. A minimum of 3 years’ experience within spare parts operations, preferably at an automobile parts sales counter.
4. Able to quickly learn about a variety of parts.
5. Experience in cold calling and visits to potential customers to develop business.
6. Personable, friendly, honest, ethical and willing to listen.
7. Strong relationship building skills.
8. Fluent in English language.
9. An understanding of I.T systems would be advantageous.
10. Demonstrated ability in problem solving, negotiation and closing sales.
