Description

Sokoni Africa Limited is excited to offer an internship opportunity for a Bakery Production Intern. This role is designed for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in bakery operations, production processes, and quality control. As a Bakery Production Intern, you will assist the bakery team in day-to-day tasks, learning essential skills that will help launch your career in the food production industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and production of bakery items following recipes and quality standards
  • Support the bakery team in managing inventory and stocking ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery work area
  • Observe and learn about food safety and hygiene standards in bakery production
  • Participate in quality control checks and assist with packaging and labeling
  • Help with the maintenance and cleaning of bakery equipment

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Food Technology, Culinary Arts, or a related field
  • Passion for bakery production and willingness to learn
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety is an advantage
  • Good communication skills and reliability
  • Availability to commit to the internship duration as agreed
