A Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages (espresso, cappuccino, latte, etc.) to consistent standards.
- Greet customers, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment.
- Manage beverage stock and supplies, informing the supervisor when orders are needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee bar and equipment.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Barista is preferred but not always required.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation.
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly and engaging personality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a passion for coffee.
