Background

Kai Bar and Restaurant is an upcoming, high-end bar and restaurant located in Ntinda, Minister's Village.

On behalf of Kai Bar & Restaurant, we are seeking disciplined, professional, and vigilant Bouncers / Security Officers to join its team. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, staff, and company property while ensuring compliance with venue policies and security procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Control access to the premises and verify guest entry requirements.
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter misconduct and promote guest safety.
• Monitor guest behaviour and professionally manage conflicts, disturbances, or disruptive situations.
• Enforce venue rules, responsible alcohol service requirements, and management directives.
• Conduct routine patrols of the premises to identify and address safety or security concerns.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, accidents, or security breaches.
• Assist with crowd management during peak periods, events, and special functions.
• Work closely with management and operational teams to ensure a safe and enjoyable guest experience.
• Prepare incident reports and document security-related matters as required.
• Ensure the protection of company assets, staff, and customers at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in security, crowd control, law enforcement, or a similar role is preferred.
• Valid security training or certification is an added advantage.
• Strong physical presence, confidence, and situational awareness.
• Excellent communication, conflict-resolution, and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and self-discipline.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, public holidays, and late-night shifts.
