Duty Station: Central Region, Entebbe, Uganda JOB TITLE. BRANCH MANAGER
Job Summary: Build and lead a high performing team to grow a profitable loan portfolio and deliver exceptional customer service. Key duties/responsibilities: • Design and execute marketing and sales plans/activities that drive individual, team, and business unit performance. • Ensure that all staff under your supervision on a daily/weekly/monthly basis attain their assigned disbursement and collections targets. • To lead the branch team to ensure that all approved processes (loan origination, appraisal, approval and monitoring) are adhered to. • To conduct field visits to clients, guarantors and relevant stakeholders in the branch area of coverage. • To recruit, onboard, retain, train and coach new and existing staff at the branch on all processes to grow and maintain a good quality portfolio. • Analyze disbursement and collections reports and drive appropriate intervention for each individual under your supervision Required Qualifications and Work Experience: • Degree in any relevant field with experience in Log book loan financing and other products • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position preferably in a financial institution. • Must possess leadership and supervisory skills.
