Preparation of daily flights catering orders and submitting them to the caterer
Supervising service providers to ensure timely flights loading & offloading.
Budgeting and controlling all logistics of the catering section.
Ensuring timely loading and offloading of all Aircraft Catering items
Delivering the catering items and making handover to flight pursers.
Supervising the loading and offloading of catering materials from the Aircraft
Participating in periodic food presentations with Caterer and designing proper in-flight Catering menu
Coordinating and organizing for meal uplifts from out stations
Monitoring daily inflight consumption reports
Receipt and verification of invoices from service providers before submission to Finance
Coordinating with all other ground operations staff in ensuring timely flight operations
Attending to any other duties as may be assigned by the line superiors.
Education and Experience:
Diploma or equivalence, in a business-related profession from a reputable institute OR a minimum of “A” level certificate with profound experience in Aviation catering.
A diploma or certificate in catering may be an added advantage.
An uninterrupted work experience of not less than 3 years in an in-flight catering / culinary industry.
Skills;
Good team player with fast decision-making skills
Driving skills in light weight vehicles. Possession of an Airside driving permit (ADP) is an added advantage
