Responsibilities:
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, and pots.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, food preparation surfaces, and floors.
- Manage kitchen waste disposal and recycling.
- Ensure the dishwashing area is organized and clean at all times.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks like peeling vegetables, as needed.
- Support the kitchen team by maintaining a constant supply of clean equipment.
Qualifications:
- No formal education required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle heavy items.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a hot, humid, and busy environment.
- A strong understanding of and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
