Academic Qualifications:

A minimum of a Diploma in Business Administration, Hospitality, or any other relevant field.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications related to customer service, client relations, and cashiering.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years in client relations and/or cashiering roles.

Experience working in a medical or healthcare setting is an advantage.

Special Skills Needed:

Dedication and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Proficiency in cash handling and basic accounting.

Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality.

Proficiency in using computer software such as MS Office and hospital management systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Client Relations:

  • Welcome and assist patients and visitors promptly and courteously.
  • Provide accurate information regarding services, appointments, and hospital policies.
  • Address patient inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
  • Maintain a positive and welcoming environment.

Cashier Responsibilities:

  • Collect payments from patients for services rendered, ensuring accuracy.
  • Issue receipts and maintain proper records of transactions.
  • Manage billing processes and assist with insurance claims where applicable.
  • Reconcile cash at the end of each shift and ensure secure handling of cash and receipts.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information.
  • Keep the reception area tidy and organized.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and administration to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in administrative tasks as assigned.

Reporting To:

Clinic Manager
