JOB DETAILS:
Background
Oil Palm Uganda Limited (OPUL), Oil Palm Buvuma Limited (OPBL), OPUL Sango Bay (OSBL) has established over 9000 hectares of oil palm supported by about 6000 hectares in three districts. The crude oil is shipped to the refinery at Masese Jinja at BIDCO Uganda Limited (BUL) for manufacture into various products.
We conduct business in a more prosperous safe and environmentally sustainable manner that promotes wellbeing of our shareholders, community, government, employees and customers. Our vision is to be the leading internationally competitive high yielding low-cost oil palm plantation and milling company producing sustainable palm oil. In a bid to fulfill This vision, we are hiring:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB), Social Sciences, Public Administration, Community Development, or related field.
Other Competences
- Strong knowledge of legal procedures, regulatory compliance, and community engagement.
- Able to supervise and lead subordinates.
- Ability to collect data and use it to assess social impacts of the project on the community.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good report writing skills.

Level of Education: bachelor degree
