Job Summary:
The Concierge serves as the primary lifestyle and information resource for guests or residents. This role goes beyond standard front desk duties by arranging services, making reservations, securing tickets, and providing personalized recommendations to enhance the customer’s experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests warmly; anticipate their needs before they ask.
- Arrange dining reservations, theatre tickets, transportation (limos, taxis, shuttles), and special events.
- Provide detailed directions, maps, and recommendations for local attractions, shopping, and business services.
- Coordinate luggage storage, package acceptance/delivery, and mail handling.
- Assist with booking spa appointments, golf tee times, tours, or private charters.
- Handle special requests (e.g., floral delivery, baby equipment, pet services, medical prescriptions).
- Maintain a deep knowledge of the local area, including emergency services, embassies, and cultural sites.
- Liaise with housekeeping, engineering, and security to fulfill guest requests smoothly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in a luxury hotel, residential building, or customer-facing role.
- Fluency in English required; second language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin, French) highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of hotel PMS (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) and concierge software (e.g., Alice, GoConcierge).
