Main Duties and Responsibilities

Planning and Coordination:

  • Organize and control nighttime activities for all disciplines.
  • Ensure the conformity of work fronts defined by SNOPEC during the day and ensure the site is prepared for the following shifts.
  • View the availability of SNOPEC resources before the start of the shift.

Supervision and Control:

  • Supervise SNOPEC and subcontractor teams during the night shift.
  • Ensure strict adherence to HSE procedures and quality standards.
  • Monitor work execution in accordance with plans and specifications.

HSE Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Safety & Environment Manager for the night shift.
  • Verify that HSE Toolbox Talks are completed before work begins.
  • Monitor hazardous areas, ensure work permits are in place, and manage emergency situations.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental requirements.

Interaction and Communication:

  • Maintain open communication with the Day Shift Superintendent to ensure business continuity.
  • Report incidents, near misses, and progress to the CSR Manager and the Industrial Area Superintendent.
  • Prepare a detailed Night Shift Report.

Pre-commissioning and Readiness:

  • Verify system readiness for testing and pre-commissioning, if applicable.
  • Ensure the completion of punch lists identified during the shift.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent in related discipline with experience in pre commissioning within Oil & Gas
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in oil and gas projects, with extensive multi-discipline precommissioning and Oil Gas construction experience
  • Good knowledge of the Company’s General Specifications and/or previous experience with other major Contractors in oil and gas construction projects.
  • The local candidate shall be fully conversant with the applicable Oil and Gas Industry International Codes, Standards as well as best Industry Practices.
