Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Construction Worker to assist with building, repairing, and maintaining structures. The ideal candidate will have basic construction knowledge, follow safety protocols, and work well in a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in building, demolition, and renovation projects.
- Load/unload materials and prepare construction sites (clearing debris, digging trenches).
- Operate hand/power tools (e.g., drills, saws, hammers) under supervision.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members.
- Adhere to safety guidelines (wear PPE, secure work zones).
- Perform basic tasks like mixing concrete, framing, or installing drywall.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
Requirements:
- Experience: 6+ months in construction (or willingness to train).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long hours, and work outdoors.
- Basic Skills: Familiarity with tools, measurements, and construction materials.
- Safety-Conscious: Knowledge of OSHA standards is a plus.
- Team Player: Good communication and reliability.
- Licenses/Certs: Valid driver’s license or equipment certifications (e.g., forklift) preferred but not required.
