JOB DETAILS:
The position holder will be responsible for coordinating Medical Laboratory Technology programmes, ensuring academic excellence, efficient resource utilization, and the welfare of students/staff in line with MIHS, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education and Sports, and relevant national/international policies and guidelines.

Position’s expected Key Result Areas:
• Lead tutors in delivering course content, ensuring curricula are offered to standard and within set timeframes, using appropriate learning/teaching methodologies.
• Coordinate the programme to empower staff to deliver excellent service and high standards.
• Participate in managing the school budget, ensuring efficient resource usage and accountability to promote program sustainability.

Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Laboratory Technology/Medical Laboratory Sciences plus a postgraduate diploma in Medical Education or Diploma in Education.
• OR Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology with a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Education.
• Must be registered with the Allied Health Professionals’ Council with a current APL.
• Experience in managing an academic programme is an added advantage.

Job-related experience and knowledge:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in teaching.
• Experience/knowledge of relevant MOH/MOES guidelines and policies.
