JOB DETAILS:
The Crawler Crane Operator will safely and precisely operate crawler cranes to lift and transport heavy materials on construction sites. This role includes conducting safety checks, adhering to safety guidelines, and assisting in site setup and teardown.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Operate crawler cranes to lift, move, and accurately position heavy loads on the site.
• Perform rigging and unrigging tasks, ensuring secure attachment and compliance with weight limits.
• Conduct thorough safety checks on the crane and rigging equipment before each shift.
• Follow all safety regulations and company protocols to prevent incidents.
• Support site setup and teardown to facilitate smooth project operations.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure safe and efficient load movement.

Qualifications, skills, and Experience
• Valid certification and proven experience in operating crawler cranes.
• Strong knowledge of rigging techniques and crane operation safety standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, understanding of load limits, and safety practices.
• Ability to read load charts and calculate load weights accurately.
• Familiarity with basic mechanical principles to handle minor repairs and adjustments.
• Ability to follow site-specific safety and operational procedures, including weight-bearing guidelines.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate movements and activities with the ground crew.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
