It focuses on developing the next generation of Disciple Nation Builders through four thematic areas: Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Academics, and Discipleship, while imparting biblical principles. L4A operates programs in Uganda and South Sudan.

Job Summary
The Data Associate will manage and process data from LEAD4africa’s program departments (academy, university, and post-university), ensuring its accurate entry into the digital database (Salesforce). The role involves collaborating with Leadership Development Program staff and the Strategy and Program Impact team to ensure data processes are robust, effective, and aligned with organizational strategies.

Key Responsibilities
1. Data Entry and Accuracy
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry into the Salesforce database.
• Validate data to ensure its correctness and alignment with program needs.
2. Data Organization and Structuring
• Collaborate with MEAL, Salesforce, and IT teams for seamless data integration.
• Organize and structure data using tools like Microsoft Excel before inputting into Salesforce.
3. Quality Assurance and Consistency
• Conduct data validation and audits weekly, monthly, and quarterly to identify and rectify errors.
• Work with program teams to ensure data aligns with reporting requirements.
4. Data Analysis and Reporting
• Analyze data to derive insights and support evidence-based decisions.
• Promote a data-use culture through data visualization and reporting.
5. Data Maintenance and Updates
• Regularly back up, securely store, and update data in line with program changes.
• Maintain high standards of data integrity and confidentiality.

Required Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Quantitative Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience (employment or internship) in data collection, analysis, and management.

Skills and Competencies
• Strong attention to detail for data accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges proactively.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting findings clearly.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Ability to travel to operational areas (e.g., Nimule, South Sudan, and Gulu, Uganda) for fieldwork.
