Background

The Declarant will be responsible for preparing and submitting customs declarations, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations for the import and export of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process customs entries and other documentation for imports and exports.
• Classify goods according to the customs tariff and determine applicable duties and taxes.
• Liaise with customs authorities to resolve queries and ensure smooth clearance of goods.
• Stay updated on changes in customs regulations and trade agreements.
• Advise clients and internal teams on customs requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Professional certification in Customs Clearing and Forwarding (e.g., from FFASA, ICPAK).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Declarant.
• In-depth knowledge of local customs laws, tariffs, and documentation procedures.
