As a trusted partner to our Country Director, you’ll take the lead on:
Building the capacity of our Uganda team
Leading government and donor relations
Ensuring compliance with grants and national regulations
 Managing partnerships with NGOs, corporates, and institutions
Overseeing budgets, financial reporting, and accountability systems
We’re looking for a confident leader who thrives in international settings—someone equally comfortable engaging with Ugandan ministries, global donors, and AWA’s U.S.-based team.
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
8–10 years of NGO leadership or international development experience
A proven track record with donor compliance, partnerships, and financial oversight
Strong cross-cultural communication and mentoring skills
A University degree in International Development, Public Administration, Business, or similar (preferred)
