Green Power International (GPI) is hiring a Drilling Machine Operator responsible for operating drilling machinery, ensuring quality control of the operations, and maintaining and using hand tools effectively. Day-to-day tasks include setting up machines, performing routine maintenance, monitoring machine performance, and communicating effectively with team members to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and manage drilling rigs and associated equipment for water borehole projects
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on drilling machines
Ensure safety standards and procedures are followed at all times
Collaborate with the project team to meet drilling specifications and timelines
Conduct site assessments to determine drilling feasibility
Keep accurate records of drilling operations and materials used
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum Certificate in borehole drilling.
Proven 2 years of experience as a driller or drilling machine operator (preferably in water/borehole drilling)
Strong technical and mechanical knowledge of drilling equipment
Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic equipment repairs
Physical fitness and ability to work in demanding outdoor conditions
Commitment to safety and quality standards
Team player with strong communication skills
