JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary:
Ensure safe and timely transport for Mildmay Uganda staff, clients, and designated equipment/items.

Key Result Areas:
• Routine vehicle maintenance.
• Ambulance management.
• Route planning and expert navigation.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
• Accurate documentation of transport activities.
• Excellent communication skills.

Qualification & Experience:
• Uganda Certificate of Education (O-Level), plus a Certificate in Defensive Driving.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with an excellent driving record in organizational vehicle management, preferably in a hospital or similar work environment.
• The candidate must have a valid Driving Permit with relevant vehicle classes.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations, as well as demonstrable understanding of motor vehicle operations and basic mechanics.

Level of Education: High School
