Job Summary:
Education Subject Specialist at Dream Africa Schools plays a key role in enhancing student learning, supporting progress of teachers, ensure effective implementation of academic processes,and provides administrative support in pre-defined areas.

Key Duties and Responsibilities;

1. Student Learning

• Conducting Classroom Observations
  
• Review the internal assessments set by schools
  
• Benchmark student progress against international and national quality standards
  
• Conducting in-depth discussion with school management on student progress
  
• Designing and conducting program and Workshops
  

2. Teacher Progress

• Arrive at teacher training needs.
  
• Organize workshops on need basis
  
• Conduct per-service and in-service teacher Trainings
  
• Monitor the progress of teachers
  

3. Effective Policy implementation

• Ensure awareness and implementation of academic policies.
  
• Organize and Conduct discussion and workshops
  

4. Administrative Support

• Support teacher recruitment process
  
• Enhance teacher motivation and student reducing attrition
  
• Ensure that the learning resources and academic support materials are available at the schools.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in ECD from a recognized university
  
• Grade V teaching certificate in Primary Education from a recognized institution
  
• Registered with the ministry of Education
  
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a subject teacher or Teacher Trainer.
