JOB DETAILS:
Position: Electrical Engineering Instructor
Organization: Watoto Childcare Ministries
Location: Hope Vocational Technical Institute, Suubi, Uganda
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality technical lessons aligned with the institute’s curriculum.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, maintaining accurate records.
- Mentor students on academic, career, and social matters.
- Ensure safe and optimal use of equipment and resources.
- Foster a supportive learning environment and uphold discipline standards.
- Facilitate work-placement partnerships for student practice opportunities.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of teaching experience in a technical institute (practical industry experience is a plus).
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and teamwork ability.
- Flexibility, initiative, and commitment to Watoto’s ethos.
