JOB DETAILS:
Roofings Group is the leading manufacturer of quality steel and plastic building products in East Africa. We are currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated, technically experienced, and competent person, with zeal to perform beyond expectations and excited to Join a (29) years leading steel manufacturer as Electrical Technician.

Responsibilities
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
• Ensure timely electrical trouble shooting and root cause analysis in case of break downs.
• Implement the preventive maintenance schedule for all factory electrical equipment.
• Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical/ electronic wiring, equipment, appliances and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Repair, replace wiring equipment and install ground lead and connect power cables to equipment such as Motors.
• Ensure safety and all other employees.

Qualifications
• A Minimum of 3 years’ working experience as an Electrical Technician in a similar work environment.
• A Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
• Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
• Must be self-motivated and a great team player.
