Background

Exquisite Solution Limited is hiring an Electrician for our client in the manufacturing and distribution sector. The role is responsible for ensuring maximum equipment uptime through preventive maintenance, rapid fault response, and strict adherence to electrical safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Find and fix electrical problems on tube mill machines, including forming, welding, sizing, and cut-off equipment.
• Repair 3-phase motors, control wiring, and other production equipment to keep machines running safely.
• Carry out regular maintenance on motors, drives (VFDs), PLC panels, transformers, and power systems.
• Test motors and cables to make sure they are safe and working properly.
• Install and connect conduit, cable trays, and industrial wiring according to electrical standards.
• Wire and set up control panels, motor starters, relays, overloads, and safety systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLC systems, operator screens (HMIs), and sensors.
• Set up and fix AC/DC drives and soft starters to ensure proper motor operation.
• Check and maintain electrical panels, breakers, and power distribution systems.
• Keep clear maintenance records, find the cause of repeated problems, and take action to prevent downtime.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Prior experience in a tube mill or similar industrial manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support and guide non-technical personnel.
• Candidates residing in Jinja are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment.
• High level of attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
