Newrest Uganda Inflight Services is an ISO 9001:2015 and 22001: 2018 certified company based at Entebbe international airport with various branches across the country.
Newrest is looking for qualified and experienced people to fill the following position:
Job title: Executive Chef

Profile
• Previous experience with catering /hospitality industry minimum of 10 years' experience
• Previous experience in menu designing
• Good knowledge of computer applications: word and Excel
• Good command of the English language both written and spoken
• Results oriented
• Customer oriented

Duties and Responsibilities
• Designs and prepares Menus
• Oversees and liaises with Quality Control to maintain HACCP, food safety hygiene requirements throughout the kitchen operations
• Liaises with the sanitation department on hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen units
• Controls operations and ensures that there is no food wastage
• Maintain and improve on food costs (profits)
