About the job
We are seeking a highly organized, creative, and discreet professional to serve as social media & Communications Officer and Personal Assistant to the Finance Director. This role combines executive support with strategic digital communications, internal staff engagement, and the creation of well-researched, high-quality content for the Finance Director’s social media platforms.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative and executive support to the Finance Director
- Manage schedules, meetings, reminders, and correspondence
- Manage and grow the Finance Director’s social media accounts (e.g. LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, as applicable)
- Research, write, and publish accurate, insightful, and engaging digital content related to finance, leadership, policy, and organizational updates
- Draft and distribute clear, timely, and professional communications to staff on behalf of the Finance Director
- Support internal announcements, updates, and staff engagement initiatives
- Conduct thorough research on financial, economic, and industry-related topics.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any related field
- Proven experience in social media management, communications, or executive support
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong research and analytical abilities
- High level of organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
- Proficiency with social media platforms and digital tools
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
